Charles James “Charlie” Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was a prominent American political activist, author, and media figure. He co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012 and became one of the most influential voices of conservative youth and Christian nationalism in the 2020s.

Born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Kirk grew up active in political discourse from a young age. He briefly attended Harper College before committing full time to activism. Over his career, he published several books, hosted The Charlie Kirk Show, and led Turning Point USA’s expansion on college campuses nationwide.

Kirk was known for his unflinching style: merging faith, political advocacy, and youth engagement. He championed conservative principles including limited government, free markets, traditional values, and strong support for Israel.
